Why are those characters so adorable?! The kid Maria and baby Shadow one almost gave me diabetes while drawing XD

And I just HAD to draw the scene from the second movie 3 trailer...I need more Knuckles hugs, because he deserves a lot of them! <3

Do you think Sonic likes nesting... and building nests with Shadow.. Bc it's comforting and also he sees it as a subtle not so subtle way of bonding with his love...

Like idk there's something cutely romantic about making the perfect bed with your loved one. And IMO.. I think Sonic would also like doing it because it helps Shadow get more in touch with his "feral" side that he wasn't really allowed / given the chance to embrace.. Then if you add in the way that Shadow might not even know what it's like to have a nest and this is his first ever time having one.... Ohhh ohh it's endless sappy comfort

ahem little side notes, I love that shadow is shorter than sonic.. it's super cute and it makes me do 3000 billion backflips. short husband.. alzo shadow is a trans dude and sonic is a genderfluid girlboyboss you can't change my mind

i personally find it funny how people seem to think sonic talks a lot and shadow doesn't, but i find it more likely for sonic to not say anything as shadow rants about the idiocy of his coworkers at G.U.N ( not rouge and omega ) or something like that.

while i know it's for character dialogue reasons, i noticed that sonic usually doesn't say anything until someone is done talking and it feels really personal to me, i guess.

i'm gonna blame sonic frontiers, haha
